Meet the Jupiter Team Behind Sightline Windows & Doors Jupiter

The crew that shows up at your door in Jupiter isn’t a rotating roster of subcontractors. These are the same people who measured your openings, specified your glazing package, and will return if the seal ever fails. What holds this team together isn’t a handbook. It’s the Haven Standard, clause by clause, and the fact that every one of us has a license number on the page before we arrive.

Sonia Raman, Owner

I started Sightline in 2012 after watching a homeowner in Palm Beach County get three different prices for the same window package from the same company, depending on which salesman showed up. That doesn’t happen here. Haven Clause 1 means the measurement and the quote are the same document, and I sign every one. I hold a Florida Residential Contractor license, and I still climb ladders on complex geometric openings because the sightline measurement on a custom trapezoid can’t be delegated to an app. Off the job, I maintain a spreadsheet tracking the actual U-factor performance of every installed unit versus its rated spec. The gap interests me.

Marcus T., Lead Technician

Marcus has been installing impact-rated systems in Jupiter and Tequesta since 2014, starting with post-Hurricane Wilma retrofits when the building codes were still shifting. He’s PGT-certified for the WinGuard Architectural series and CGI-certified for their commercial-grade storefront systems, which means he can specify the exact anchoring pattern your wall type requires without calling a rep. Marcus carries a borescope to inspect existing rough openings for hidden water intrusion before we quote a replacement, and he’s found rot behind stucco in Abacoa three times this year that the homeowner didn’t know about. He rebuilds vintage motorcycles and applies the same tolerance standards to both.

Elena V., Senior Installer

Elena joined us in 2019 after six years with a Miami-Dade contractor specializing in high-rise impact glazing. She holds Mr-Glass certification for their monolithic impact laminate systems and is our go-to for sliding door installations over 144 inches, where the header deflection calculation determines whether the panels will bind. In Jupiter Farms, she handled a full-home replacement with 34 custom geometric units from ES Windows, every one field-measured to within 1/16 inch because the stucco returns wouldn’t forgive shims. Elena speaks Spanish with our South American manufacturer reps and English with everyone else, switching mid-sentence when the technical term lands better in one language.

David K., Service Coordinator

David answers the phones that ring at 10 PM when a homeowner notices water pooling under a sill after a storm. He’s not reading from a script. He’s looking at your file, the photo record from your installation, and the product spec sheet while he talks. David schedules every measured survey, confirms permit status with Jupiter Building Department, and tracks the delivery dates from our eight manufacturer lines so we don’t promise a Therma-Tru entry unit that CWS hasn’t released to the warehouse yet. He grew up in Juno Beach and can tell you which Jupiter subdivisions built between 2004 and 2008 used the wrong nail fin attachment for their wind zone.

Jake R., Apprentice Installer

Jake started with us in 2023 after completing the FenestrationMasters certification program. He’s currently working under Marcus on impact window retrofits, learning to read the Florida Building Code wind-borne debris maps block by block because Jupiter Inlet Colony and Jupiter Island sit in different pressure zones despite being three miles apart. Jake handles the documented photo record on every job, shooting 40 to 60 images per opening: pre-condition, rough opening, flashing sequence, final seal, and cleanup. He surfs before dawn when the swell is up and has been late twice. We kept him because the photos were never late.

The Haven Standard travels with us. Have it in writing means Sonia signs your quote before anyone touches a tool. Arrive on schedule means we call if traffic on I-95 or the Indiantown bridge pushes us past the window. Verified crews means the license number you looked up matches the person at your door. Evidence on every job means Jake’s photo record and your copy of the measured survey. No surprises means the written price before work started is the price on the final invoice.

This standard applies whether we’re installing a single ViewLux picture window in a Jupiter Abacoa townhouse or a full PGT impact package across a Tequesta waterfront home.
