The aftermarket tandem rollers we stock meet the same 125-pound dynamic load rating but use a sealed bearing instead of the OEM’s open race, which holds up better in Jupiter’s salt-air environment. DIY or Call Us?

An owner can safely check three things: vacuum the lower track and flush with a garden hose (low pressure), inspect the label for the series and date code, and test whether the bind happens at the same track position with the door both open and closed. If the answer is yes, the track is likely damaged, not the roller.

What goes wrong in DIY: the ES tandem roller bracket is under spring tension and the panel must be lifted square off the rail to clear the upper guide. A tilted lift risks bending the fixed panel’s interlock or shattering the glass. The panel on a standard 6-foot ES slider weighs 90-120 pounds. We do not recommend owner removal.
